We bring you this Justin Snaith video interview that Racing News conducted ahead of the 2020 Durban July, run at Greyville on Saturday 25th July.
Justin Snaith has achieved a great deal during his rise to the top table of South African racing.
Snaith saddled his first Durban July winner in 2014, when Legislate triumphed under Richard Fourie. Next Saturday, he'll try to lift the trophy for the fourth time, having done so the previous two years with back-to-back winner, Do It Again.
Ahead of the 2020 renewal of the Durban July, Racing News caught up with Justin Snaith as he readied his squad for South Africa's biggest handicap. Check out this engaging interview in the video below...
Snaith briefly touched on Belgarion, Do It Again and Miyabi Gold in the video. He failed to mention the fourth and fifth members of his 2020 Durban July team, with Bunker Hunt and Silvano's Pride also in the mix.
Wednesday's draw was fairly unkind on Snaith's leading contenders, with Belgarion drawn just one gate inside Do It Again, who will have to negotiate the widest gate of all, stall 18. Full details of the draw for the 2020 Durban July can be found on our website.
Belgarion remains the 4.5 favourite for next Saturday's Durban July. Rainbow Bridge splits Snaith's top chances at the head of the betting, and came in for even more support after landing a plum draw in stall two.
