2021 Holywoodbet Gold Challenge Odds - Rainbow Bridge odds-on to defend crown

Saturday marks a huge day on the South African horse racing calendar, as many of the best horses in the country do battle in the Gold Challenge. Rainbow Bridge scored an impressive victory in this race 12 months ago, and Eric Sands' star has been installed as the odds-on favourite by race-sponsors Hollywoodbets.

Eight rivals have been entered against Rainbow Bridge, but the bookies can't look past the defending champion, especially after his sparkling victory in the Metropolitan Handicap at Kenilworth earlier this year.

Catch Twentytwo was comfortably beaten into second by Rainbow Bridge in the recent Drill Hall Stakes, but will still return for another crack at the favourite.
