Yet, as we draw closer to today's main event, Got The Greenlight looks weak in the market, and it could be LINEBACKER who enters the stalls at Greyville as the favourite come 2:00pm.
Vaughan Marshall's three-year-old returns to Greyville on the back of an impressive victory in the Daily News 2000 back in May. He's been the most impressive three-year-old in South Africa this season and, being of the Classic generation, he'll be getting weight from the older horses behind him in the betting.
Linebacker was a 7/2 shot yesterday, with Got The Greenlight the 5/2 favourite. However, that has now changed, as both Got The Greenlight and Linebacker can be found at 10/3 with bet.co.za.
Rainbow Bridge and Do It Again has drifted out from 6s to 13/2, with Rascallion a 17/2 chance. Defending champion, Belgarion is a 12/1 outsider this time around, with Kommetdieding also drifting out to 14/1.
